1. Cleanser | Gently remove overnight oils and prep skin | Use lukewarm water, massage in circles ~30 seconds, then rinse.
2. Toner / Mild Elixir | Hydrate & balance skin | Dispense 2–3 pumps on palms or cotton, pat onto face & neck.
3. Antioxidant / Boost Serum | Brighten, protect, and support barrier | Niacinamide Vitamin Boost Serum (VEGAN) | Apply a few drops, gently press into skin. |
4. Moisturizer | Hydrate and lock in moisture | Hyaluronic Moisturizer (VEGAN) or Oil-Free Daily Moisturizer (VEGAN) | Choose based on your skin type. Apply evenly to face & neck. |
5. Sunscreen | Shield from UV damage & aging | (Use your preferred cruelty-free mineral sunscreen) | This step is essential — apply as last layer, reapply as needed. |
🌙 Night Routine (Repair + Restore)
Step | Purpose | HappyBugBeauty Product | Notes & How to Use |
1. Makeup / Sunscreen Remover | Remove SPF, makeup, and surface grime | Massage into dry skin, then follow with your cleanser.
2. Cleanser | Deep cleanse pores and residuals | As in morning, with gentle motions.
3. Toner / Mild Elixir | Prep for actives | Helps calm the skin and restore pH.
4. Treatment / Active Serum | Address skin concerns | Use strong actives (glycolic, retinol) only 2–3 nights per week. On other nights, use gentler serums like niacinamide.
5. Face Oil / Elixir | Nourish & seal hydration | Use 1–2 drops, warm in hands, press into face (especially on dry zones).
6. Night Moisturizer / Cream | Lock in hydration overnight | Use as final layer; if skin is dry, layer oil + moisturizer combination. |
🗓 Weekly / Occasional Extras
Exfoliation (1–2× per week): Use Glycolic Acid Serum in place of your active night serum, or another gentle exfoliant.
Mask / Deep Treatment (1× per week): Use a clay, botanical, or sheet mask (vegan, cruelty-free) to cleanse or deeply hydrate.
Patch Testing: Always test new actives (retinol, glycolic) behind the ear or lower jaw for a few nights before full-face use.
Avoid Overlapping Strong Actives: If using retinol one night, skip glycolic or other harsh treatments that same night.
